Much like its counterparts, the New Balance 550 and 1906R, the New Balance 9060 is rolling out at a rapid pace, offering an impressive variety of colorways.
This flurry of releases doesn't mean the Boston brand is oversaturating the market. Quite the opposite—since its 2022 debut through a Joe Freshgoods collaboration, the 9060 has seen significant consumer demand. It's quickly become a favorite among fashion influencers, sneaker enthusiasts, and casual wearers, solidifying its position as the must-have chunky sneaker of the moment.
As we move into the warmer months, New Balance is focusing on soft-colored, contemporary looks with a heavy emphasis on suede. We've already covered the recently unveiled "Moonbeam" and "Vintage Rose" colorways, and now, a new "Calcium" version is set to join the lineup in mid-June. This new hue features buttery suede overlays across the upper, with "Sea Salt" as the secondary shade on the base, tongue, laces, and lower midsole. Adding a touch of flair, the "Metallic Silver" New Balance logo is complemented by a silver heel counter and additional branding on the heel and tongue.
The New Balance 9060 “Calcium/Sea Salt/Silver Metallic” will be available on newbalance.com starting June 14th for $150 in unisex sizes.
